NO PAIN FOR CHILDREN AWARD 2014
YOUNG RESEARCHERS' AWARD
Rome - November 19, 2014
Since the main goal of this second prize is to encourage and support the interest of young researchers in pediatric palliative care, the "No Pain for Children Award for Excellence in Paediatric Palliative Care" changed its name in "Young Researchers' Award".
Up to five prizes were awarded to the best abstracts submitted to the "2nd International Congress on Paediatric Palliative Care - A Global Gathering" by presenting authors who are under the age of 35 years on the date of the inauguration of the Congress on November 19, 2014. There was a first prize of € 6.000, a second prize of € 3.000 and three following prizes of € 2.000.
The nominated abstracts have been adjudicated by the Congress’ International Advisory Board and a delegation from the No Pain for Children Association.
"Matilda" by Matteo Boato is the work chosen for the prize of the 2014 edition.
